EO Incentives can provide up to $6000. for new hires and up to $8000. for apprenticeships to offset associated costs of training new employees. Applicable for permanent positions with a minimum of 20 hours per week. Participants cannot be in school full time. RNC and employers work together to develop a training plan outlining learning objectives.

Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG) provides financial support for eligible employers to purchase short-term training for existing employees and new hires*. COJG is available to small, medium and large businesses.
*Employers may be eligible for additional incentives.

To participate in these programs employers require an Employer Registration (includes business number), WSIB clearance certificate, third party liability insurance coverage and must be a registered Ontario business and hire Ontario residents.
YJL offers financial support to assist and encourage eligible youth in the workforce. Employment supports may include purchasing work related items such as clothing or safety equipment for a first job. Employer incentives may also be available to offset the cost of training youth. Youth and employers must register / apply for incentives with RNC before the youth starts the job.

The EYTI program supports small businesses to hire and retain assisted youth ages 15-29
who are not in school
Eligible employers will receive up to $2000 per participant. Employers receive $1000 upon hiring and
$1000 after retaining the youth for six months. Youth and employers must be working with RNC through job matching services and apply for incentives prior to the youth starting the job.
Fewer than 100 employees (including part-time and full-time)
Hire an Employment Ontario assisted youth ages 15-29 for a position that averages a minimum of 20 hours per week* through the Job Matching, Placement and Incentives program**
Be licensed to operate in Ontario and provide a position in Ontario
*Exceptions to the minimum hours per week requirement can be made for youth with disabilities
**Employers are also required to meet certain service delivery requirements in order to be eligible for Employing Young Talent Incentives
